There are so many points on this property to enjoy the scenery, each with a different charm.
Living room double doors lead to beautiful outdoor area with river cane (a type of Costa Rica bamboo) roof as well as teak posts and poured cement floor. Ideal for hammock time, outdoor dining and social events, etc. There is another smaller terrace outside of the kitchen as well, perfect for BBQ area and star –gazing or morning coffee.
Pool has two levels (one level is shallow, and one level slightly deeper). There are lawn areas near the pool and in the front of the home (driveway area). The paved driveway starts at street level and winds up to the house, the bodega/corral area is located halfway up on the right side.
This property has the feel of an estate, with plenty of room to grow and buffer from neighbors, although there are no neighbors on 3 sides of this property, only forest.

BODEGA AND CORRAL AREA
Owner originally had 5 horses on this property and corral area has stalls to house 5 horses (or other livestock), or, this area can be converted into something else. There is also a large bodega/studio/storage area with full bathroom and AC unit.

CONSTRUCTION
This home was built to last for generations. All walls are steel reinforced concrete block (no drywall) , a new roof was put on in 2019. Exterior of home was painted in 2021. Grounds are maintained twice a month in rainy season and pool is maintained once a week. All electric is underground.

THE TOWN AND IMMEDIATE AREA
There are 4 excellent beaches within a few miles of this property. Playa Mantas (white sand), Playa Agujas and Playa Bochinche (kind of a local secret, stunning scenery and not too crowded), as well as Playa Pita.

The wonderfully peaceful town in the valley below this property is called Quebrado Ganado. This “pueblito” is inhabited by mainly local Costa Ricans, with 3 grocery stores, 2 hardware stores, produce stands, restaurants and bars, furniture and appliance stores, pharmacy, grade school, a home for the elderly, and like most Costa Rican villages, a Catholic Church and soccer field! The stunning Villa Caletas Resort is also in the immediate area as well as Costa Rica’s most coveted white sand beaches- Playa Mantas and Playa Blanca.
